4th Of July Salad is a Healthy Yet Festive Option & Takes 5 Minutes!
July 4th is just around the corner, and we can’t help but get a little festive. We also can’t help but indulge in the abundance of fresh berries right now, so this is a great time for a red, white, and blue dish!
Everywhere you look this holiday, you probably see a lot of three-layer cakes decked out in red, white, and blue; sugar cookies with the American flag piped on; and cute cupcakes with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
We love sweets and desserts every so often, but we wanted something that was delicious, healthy, and simple to throw together, so that you can spend more time eating and celebrating with loved ones.
This berry salad is the perfect answer for a kick-back, chillin’ barbecue or get-together with friends and family. Sweet blueberries and strawberries tossed with soft and tangy goat cheese is as easy, tasty, and healthy as you can possibly get.
Paired with our Classic BBQ Chicken recipe, this 4th of July will be a breeze, as you enjoy good food and good times.
Cheers!
Prepping Smarts:
We kept our fruit salad red, white, and blue to stay festive. But you can always add some mint for a refreshing, cooling flavor.
