  • Last night i was making a recipe from my Weight Watchers cookbook (your website has double helped my on my weight-loss journey!) involving some butternut squash and garam masala. It was turning out disappointingly bland, and as i was a little unfamiliar with garam masala I didn't know what to add to fix it! BUT then I remembered this and I had thankfully printed out the info-graph, and i was able to look at this and inform my spice additions (little nutmeg, curry powder and paprika). It turned out nice and tasty and added no extra calories (or points in the weight watcher world) to my meal. I was so happy and thankful I had read your blog!

    • Thanks so much for sharing your positive experience with our spice blends infographic, Laura! Congrats to you for having the confidence to veer off the recipe a little and rely on your taste buds! That's exactly what we hoped would happen when putting together these infographics. We're so happy to hear that you were able to spice up that butternut squash recipe and make it tasty - isn't it incredible what a difference a few sprinkles of spices can make?? Thank you for reading our blog and sharing your story with us! Cheers!

  • I really do love this Infographic. It's very informative. However, (I'm going to be, "That Person").as a child of a HUGE Caribbean family Thyme is a definite staple in Caribbean cuisine.

  • I love the pictures and the smells and even some of the names. But when I want to know what to put in steak and kidney pie (for example) what do I do? "Eeny meeny miny mo with steak and kidney this'll go" and then I take a stab at it
Of course I can't go wrong with salt and pepper but I need something exotic and different? Where is the book or (more likely when I'm busy) website that will satisfy my needs.
