Tex Mex Pizza on Naan with Mexican Side Salad

A delicious fusion pizza ready in 30 minutes? Yes, please! These quick and easy pizzas use naan or other flatbread as the base and then swap out traditional pizza ingredients for all the toppings and sauces you usually find on tacos. Serve it with a Mexican-style side salad and break out of the ordinary tonight and on any future Taco Tuesday or pizza night.

Meal Planning Smarts:

  • Naan freezes well, so you can easily save extras for a future quick pizza. Make sure you download our ‘All-in-One Freezer Guide’ for more freezing smarts.

Diet Variation:

  • Gluten-Free: Pick up a gluten-free pizza dough at the market.
  • Paleo: Enjoy the same flavors in our Taco-Stuffed Bell Peppers with the same Mexican Side Salad.
  • Vegetarian: This Tex Mex Pizza is already vegetarian!

Balsamic Chicken and Strawberry Spinach Salad

This beautiful combination of flavors creates one of our favorite warm weather entree salads. Fresh strawberries and balsamic vinegar give the salad a nice balance of sweet and tart while tangy goat cheese adds a nice punch over a bed of healthy spinach.

Meal Planning Smarts:

  • This recipe includes instructions for using the grill or stovetop so you can choose your preferred method.
  • Chicken freezes and reheats well, so it is always a good ingredient to buy in bulk.

Diet Variation:

  • Gluten-Free: This Balsamic Strawberry Spinach Salad is already gluten-free!
  • Paleo: Easily swap out the goat cheese for cubed avocado.
  • Vegetarian: Enjoy the same flavor balances in our Warm Balsamic Farro and Spinach Salad that still uses strawberries and goat cheese.

“I love the creative recipes, the variety of flavours and the ease of planning my week.”

Asian Fish Stick Tacos with Tangy Slaw and Sriracha Crema

Our Asian Fish Tacos got stellar reviews in last year’s meal plan for their combination of bright flavors and varied textures. Tonight we’re bringing you a shortcut version that uses store-bought frozen fish sticks for an even faster meal that is ready in just 35 minutes! Once you get a taste of these Asian tacos, you’ll be putting them in your permanent meal rotation.

Meal Planning Smarts:

Diet Variation:

  • Gluten-Free: Get gluten-free frozen fish sticks, corn tortillas, and use tamari in the slaw.
  • Paleo: With a few tweaks like paleo-friendly ‘tortillas’ and un-breaded fish, you can still enjoy Paleo Asian Fish Tacos with Spicy Aioli.
  • Vegetarian: Make our Asian Marinated Tofu Tacos instead and keep the same yummy slaw and crema.

Black Pepper Steak Noodle Stir Fry with Broccoli

This quick-cooking Asian-inspired noodle dish gets its unique flavor from our special Black Pepper Stir-Fry Sauce. Add that to the layers of flavors coming from juicy steak, earthy mushrooms, and bright green onions, and you have yourself a winner.

Meal Planning Smarts:

  • This steak noodle stir fry reheats well, so you can make it early in the week to serve for a quick dinner or to pack as a lunch.
  • Steaming the broccoli ahead of time will ensure it is already tender so that you can focus on getting the steak cooked just right.

Diet Variation:

  • Gluten-Free: Use gluten-free noodles and tamari in the sauce.
  • Paleo: Enjoy our Black Pepper Steak and Shirataki Noodle Stir-Fry.
  • Vegetarian: Use tempeh instead of steak.

All meals come with gluten-free, paleo, and vegetarian options, as well as a grocery list and optional weekend prep steps. Join our weekly meal plan service to get the grocery list, dinner steps, and more cooking tips for these 4 simple dinners.
