Even though we’ve got a lot of happy Weekly Eats subscribers, we know that quite a lot of folks have had trouble finding the motivation to start a weekly meal plan routine. For all you folks who have resolved to cook more and be healthier year after year but haven’t quite followed through, we’re going to give you the kick in the pants you need in 2013. We’re issuing a “New Year, New You in the Kitchen” challenge, designed for all those who need a commitment device to get their butts in the kitchen. For a small $10 investment, you’ll commit to finally learning to cook with our support (and maybe some nagging?).
For the month of January, you’ll receive a challenge every week. It’ll be sent the week before by Thursday night, so you’ll have plenty of time to mentally prepare and grocery shop. These challenges will be in the form of a meal plan. We’ll start off easy in week 1 and learn to cook 1 simple, healthy meal. By week 4, you’ll have built up to 4 kick-ass meals that will get you really excited to cook throughout the year. The challenge will include a meal plan with grocery list and all the required support (e.g., videos, tips, tricks) you need to make the magic happen in your kitchen.
